Is there a fee for this service?

MHS Members receive two (2) complimentary research requests each year. This means two of any combination of general, genealogy or photograph research, not two of each type of research. Members must enter their membership expiration date (mm/yyyy) to receive this member benefit. Resident and nonresident fees apply once annual benefit is used.



What is the subject of the photograph?

Enter a person AND/OR place AND/OR event AND/OR other. If you enter an event, please provide the date of event and event location.

A Person (Enter approx. age when photographed in years. Born/Died as mm/dd/yyyy)






A Place (i.e. a building, landmark, street, aerial view)




An Event (ie. parade, bridge dedication, baseball game, etc.)

After submitting your request, you will be presented with online payment options. Payment is required before we can begin to research your request. MHS Members eligible to receive a complimentary research request do not need to provide any further information after submitting this form.
