Research Requests
The Montana Historical Society Research Center answers numerous requests by patrons for various types of information related to Montana's history every day. If you are not able to visit the Research Center to conduct your own research, our staff may be able to assist you for a small fee. For detailed information on how to request research to be done by the staff of the Montana Historical Society Research Center, please visit the appropriate link below. A limited amount of our collection is available via inter-library loan. If you are interested in requesting materials via interlibrary loan, please read through our ILL policies. If you would like extensive research done (more than two hours), please contact one of the contract researchers listed below.
